Seeing the world in a different light

Infrared

Exploring the world through infrared photography is like stepping into an alternate reality, and my latest shoot brought this to life in ways I hadn’t imagined. Using infrared techniques, familiar landscapes around Hutton-le-Hole were transformed—lush green foliage turned into ethereal white, and skies took on a dramatic, otherworldly depth. I’ve shared a series of images that showcase how infrared light reveals a hidden dimension to the world around us. It’s a fascinating process that challenges how we perceive light, texture, and contrast, and it always leaves me in awe of the surreal beauty that’s just beyond what the eye can see.
