Starting at Gribdale Gate car park, the path climbs towards Captain Cooks monument

Past the heather that’s starting to flower

Finally breaching the top of the hill to be greeted by Captain Cook’s Monument

….and the first view of Roseberry Topping

Then it’s down through Ayton woods and another perspective on Roseberry Topping

After a short walk along a road and then a climb through sweltering hot woodland we get another view back towards Captain Cook’s monument

Then the route up to the top of Rosberry Topping comes into view

After walking round the base of Roseberry Topping you get to the see the route up the other side
